Our 2020-2021 season is going to have quite a bit of change with the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to provide a safe wrestling environment for our wrestlers, families, and coaches. Please take a moment to read through our 2020-2021 season rules and policies.
Practice Locations
Buffalo County Fairgrounds – (Enter through Ag. Pavilion Doors)
COVID-19 Policies
Only wrestlers, coaches, and volunteers will be allowed in the practice facility.
Wrestlers will be expected to wear a mask during all non-contact activities and drills.
Gaiter style masks recommended.
Coaches and volunteers will wear masks at all times.
Mats will be cleaned before and after each practice.
Parent Volunteer Coaches
The Kearney Matcats encourages parent involvement at practices and tournaments. Our program has been built off of the hard work and help of countless parents and volunteer coaches.
Parents wishing to volunteer at practices must complete the Volunteer Application & have a USA Wrestling Coaches Card.
Parents who have not completed a volunteer application and/or do not have a current USA Wrestling card WILL NOT be allowed in the practice facility until both of those tasks are completed.
Parents DO NOT need to have wrestling experience or expertise to volunteer.
